Re: TUPAC CLASSES BEING TAUGHT AT HARVARD & other colleges 5/11/2003 3:35:41 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Pac classes are being taught at Universities around the country, but not at Harvard. It was a one day symposium, not a class.

Re: DID PAC GRADUATE 4/23/2003 6:24:38 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Pac dropped out of school, but got his GED later. I think he got it when he was in jail. But, he did get his H.S. diploma.

Re: REASON Y PAC DOESNT SELL MUCH (AS HE SHOULD) 4/9/2003 5:19:59 PM   (Total replies: 2)
You guys are freakin nutts. No one is selling right now, but 50, Nelly and Eminem. And Em only sells alot because he's white and 50 sells alot because he is affiliated with Eminem and he was overhyped. Look at Jay-Z and Nas' numbers. Pac is dead and he probably sold the same, if not more than those dudes. Give me a break with this Pac not selling thing. Other than the three I mentioned, who else is selling? Remember, Pac is not here to promote his records, so in my book, he is doing great for a ...

Re: ya;ll think pac is as popular as he was b4. 4/9/2003 5:25:02 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Look people, Pac is as popular as ever. I consider anyone who says otherwise to be either paranoid or a hater. Look at all the rappers who are mentioning his name in songs. Look at how even eastcoast rappers are using his verses in their songs. Did this happen at any time before? NO! Pac's legacy is growing and he is now widely considered the greatest of all time or at least in the top five of everyone's lists. I don't know where you guys are coming from with this. If you guys are only going ...

MENACE, that was a stupid statement that you made: "When you're selling nine million cds and are now only selling one." You are paranoid man. No one is selling alot dude. Did you read my prior post? I am not going to repeat myself. Anyway, Pac sold 9 million albums after death because the cd was a compilation cd of his greatest hits. That means, casual fans purchased the cd. When a man is dead and unable to promote his cd, usually the hard core fans are going to be the ones who buy it. ...

MENACE, you sound like a child. By the time, Afeni decides to stop releasing Pac music, they'll be no more material to release. She already stated that she is retiring in three years. Plus, Dena LaPolt from Amaru Records stated that there is only material for one or two more Pac albums left. What are you talking about? Pac will eventually stop selling because there will be no more material. Do you think that the well will never run dry? My goodness, you people are hilarious. This is the only ...

Sure his heyday was 1996. Duh, he was alive then and at the pinnacle of his career.

Tupac (the man) is more popular dead than he was alive. More people know about him now than when he was alive. That is a point that no one can argue. 2Pac the artist is less popular because he cannot promote his music. As for Afeni, she could have chosen not to release ANY of Pac's music. What would you guys have said then. She could have not given permission to release, "Thug Angel", "Tupac Vs" and "Tupac- Ressurrection". What would you guys have said then? Look, Afeni is not perfect and I ...

Re: 2pac Next Album, Will be Way Better Then BetterDayz... 3/5/2003 10:03:06 PM   (Total replies: 1)
You guys are wackedy wack and crazy at the same time. How can any of you say that Better Dayz was wack or weak album? Did you guys listen to tracks like Momma's Just A Little Girl, My Block, Better Dayz, They Don't Give A Fuck About Us, to name a few. My goodness, that album was some of Tupac's best work. I think Afeni did a great job with not over producing it. Pac is dead and he should be the star of the album, not some money hungry producers like The Neptunes who will charge 150K a pop just ...

Re: Why is there so little support for Tupac in the younger generation? 2/23/2003 5:25:38 AM   (Total replies: 1)
I don't know what you guys are talking about. Pac is popular among the young generation. I think that whoever started this thread is just looking to get some dialogue going or wants to put that perception out there. Even the almighty Eminem is using Pac in his music. The issue is non existent to me. So many rappers nowadays bite Pac, so I really can't see how he is fading. So many people are keeping websites like this going, books are being written, movies are being made and courses are being ...
