Voting System
*Shock has now been taking out as a voting category*
- Voting for your self it not allowed here at all! We can track your IP so don’t even bother voting under different nicknames. Violating this rule will result in a 1 month suspension.
(No battling/voting between two people with the same IP!)
- Siblings or people in the same household are not allowed to vote in each others battles.
- Unless you have 50 posts, you are restricted from voting in Lyrical Competition and beginners nite. But you are able to battle under 50 posts. The amount of post will change as the forum progresses later on.
- All votes must be explained, if a vote is not explained it will not count and will be deleted.
- Votes must consist of the following:
Disses /15
Punches /15
Flow /10
Vocab /5
Multis /5
Total /50
*Please do not include points for good lines it will just unbalance the whole voting system extra point will not count if used*
Changing the Thread Title during Battling
When starting a battle just simply have both participants name in the thread title, example: Tikal vs G-Style
After both people spit then indicate that you need votes in the thread title, example: Tikal vs G-Style (Need Votes)
In between voting were one person is leading you can indicate that in the thread, example: Tikal vs G-Style (Tikal 2 – G-Style 1)
After the battle is successfully over then indicate the score example: (Tikal wins 3-1)
If the battle doesn’t consists off that then a mod, will edit the title to one of those examples for that situation.
Challenges
All challenges must be done in the call-out section, if any challenge is in either beginners nite or lyrical competition it will be moved to the call-out section.
Whomever makes the challenge must setup the battle and spit first (if your do not want to spit first then there is no need to call-out anyone for that matter).
You may only have 2 active battles going on at once.
The challenger will setup the bar limit. Going over the bar limit will result in a DQ.
Rules – Lyrics
- Newbies have to post in the Beginners Nite for a period of time before posting in the Lyrical Competition. Newbie posters who show up to be posting in Lyrical Competition will automatically get their rhyme deleted with-out any warning.
- Every writer has the right to be taken seriously with their lyrics.
- Always try to give constructive feedback. Tell the lyricist what they did well, and what they should/could improve on.
- Be a little careful with what you say when you give feedback, try to not say things that easily could be misunderstood.
- No free posting. (a little is acceptable but keep it sensible and on the subject)
- No BITING! It’s become quite common for lyricists to steal other artists work.
Either steal off of a Signed Artist, or just another board, both are considered 'Illegal' on this forum. I or any mod sees a little bit that is recognized, or someone posts why & how it is bitten, it will be deleted with out any warning, and you will be faced with a 1 month suspesion.
- If you don't respond to your battle & drop your rhyme within 96 hours, (4 days), then you will automatically be DQ'd (4 days is a lot of time to drop your stuff, so I don't want to see anyone complaining about being DQ'd).
Final Statements
Anyone who doesn’t follow these rules will have the post deleted.
If you expect to recieve votes, then you have to vote on other's battles as much as possible. If you dont give votes, why should you recieve them? Of course this excludes people with under 50 posts.
