Rules

This is a serious forum for poets n poetresses with a give-receive function. In other words, do what you want from others to them. Do not expect to get loads of feedback when never givin’ it , or never givin’ fair feedback , to anyone else.

-The maximum of poems you can post each day is 2. Everyone should get equal attention. You are also more likely to get feedback this way.

-Newbies reply to at least one poem before you start postin’ your own. Posters who show up to be posting a lot of their own poems without ever replying to others over a long period of time will get their poems deleted.

-Every writer has the right to be taken seriously with their poetry.

-Always try to give constructive feedback so that the writers can improve their skillz. If you think it’s too boring to say anything else than ”cool” maybe you think it’s too boring to read poetry . . . Try to tell the author what in the poem you liked, how was the flow, originality, rhymes, style , advices etc. Constructive feedback does not mean to give only negative feedback, just point out what could be better... however , only positive feedback can, of course , be given honestly, but we see when you say the same shit in every reply to a poem.

Be a little careful with what you say when you give feedback, try to not say things that easily could be
misunderstood , the poetry might be a very sensitive spot to the author.
Remember there’s no rules or criterias for how to write a poem – poetry can be a lot. It’s not compulsory to have rhymes in every line for instance.

-No freeposting ( a little is acceptable but keep it sensible and on the subject – the poetry forum is a serious forum made for poetry and constructive, helpful feedback to the authors )

-No copycattin’/biting ~ This is only for your own sake N disposition ... it’s become quite common to take pieces from other poetry boards and mix it ones own poem and post it and get credits for it. The pieces who is very obviously copied with proof of it ( if anyone could be that stupid ) the poem will be deleted. If U choose to copycat, it’s rairly hard to see, so consider saving yourself from the embarrassment before copycattin. So copycats, for your own sake, if you wanna write poetry do it yourself, it’s much more admirable than stealing others shit. It’s a first time for everything.

-No unreasonable and hating comments , especially racistic etc. If that would ever occure.

Get on writin’
