Pac's Deeper breathing...
"Today I was listening to better dayz in the car and as soon as I was listening to "Mama's Just A Little Girl " I noticed how when Pac finish a line he gasp for air longer than any other song on the album like he have trouble breathing and he needs to take a lot of air in. I check all the other songs from the album and it seems only "Mama's Just A Little Girl" you hear him taking in more air and in "Fair XChange" you hear it too but not like "Mama's Just A Little Girl".. I never heard him doing that in any other songs that were released so I don't know what all this about... Maybe y'all can try to bring a meaning to it. Maybe he did lived, got one of his lungs remove, made "Mama's Just A Little Girl" and thats why he sounds like that. Well if you understand what I'm trying to say ." -- Insane
Also, click on this link, and listen to how much air he gasps for when he is trying to scream "westside" in Still Ballin (from BD), then listen for about 2 more seconds, and listen to how much air he screams for westside from hit em up..

i have 2 agree that he certainly does gasp 4 air more than in his old songs, i mean what other reason can there b, it seems 2 much of a coincidence that he has a lung removed then his songs hearing him gasping 4 more air, why would he not sound like this pre-96.not just the songs u mentioned i think he takes more deep breaths all through better dayz including thug mansion.also i think his voice sounds older in better dayz but then again it could just b me hearing what i belive.

Analyzing his breathing patterns? granted, he does take a longer breath..but i think looking at the way he breaths is a little over the top....

I think analyzing his breathing is 'better' than looking at his lyrics, because at least this is undeniable.

i dont c anything wrong with analysing his breathing like logical sed its more reliable than the fairytale 7 theory, this forum is 4 discussing weather or not pac is alive and if his breathing can help us gain a better understanding of this then i cant c a problem.

i noticed it mostly on tha intro to thugz mansion he breathes really deep and there should be know reason for that. he is just talking

hmmm, but if it was a problem he was having, why dont you hear it in the Makaveli: Dk7, aren't they all from the same era (couple months). And breathing problems don't all of a sudden happen, if the cause is Smoking...its progressive, and you would hear it through out the era.

I dont think there is medicine for enphisemia (spl), and you would progressivly notice the deeper and deeper breaths.

Yes this is all true, but it does not just one day you are breating deeper, it is progressive and you would be able to notice his breathing decline...but you really don't you just all of a sudden hear him breathing deeper.

so if they all came from the same era, there would b a few songs on DKT7 and on better dayz were his voice is different but thats not the case none of the songs on DKT7 hear him gasping 4 air, this seems very odd, why just on better dayz, this means that he must b alive now producing new tracks.also it was sed that the difference varied depending on the day or if he took medicine 4 his throat,i cant belive that pac was a perfectionist, if his throat was sore 1 day and better another like sum 1 sed then he would just wait till his throat was better, 2 produce the songs like thug mansion rather than do them with a sore throat and they not b as gud, or maybe he recently produced them 4 better dayz and the difference in voice cannot be helped, after having a lung removed.

WOW this is some bullshit, if you've ever pac talk about when he records (interview at the gun range in compton) he explains why he sounds "hella sloppy" because he drinks and smokes. also, how fast he was rapping before he yelled westside because obviously viciously fast rapping takes alot of breath. one more thing, in hit em up he doesnt exactly "yell" westside as much as in mamas just a little girl. well, thats what i think

Ok... It seems rather far fetched, but I suppose Tupac might be crying when he raps the song, 'cos the song is rather emotional. (Far fetched, unlikely)
It could also be Tupac trying to keep up with the beat and make the words and sentences fit into rhythm of the song.
"Mama's just a little girl" is the song is in focus...so try and find some lyrical clues init that might point to the song be written after 1996.
