today i am very proud 2 be british, we/america have effectivly won this war, what a sight it was seeing his main statue in baghdad been pulled down, all his people threw things at him and stamped on his statue, u could see how happy the millions of them r to be free, so i salute bush and blair, u made the right choice, now its jusifyed by how happy they all are, so a job well done, and fuck u saddam.it was so obvious they didnt want him there, glad we helped them, now, we will help them rebuild their lives. peace out

I'll never congratulate them for killing people to get at one person. Have you seen the picture in the papers today of the lil kid with arms missing and shit? Its so harrowing and nearly made me cry. The coalition has succeeded in making an orphan out of this kid, moreover he is now severly disabled. Great eh? War is never justified and pictures like that prove it.

Yeah & now we're going to help ourselves to those oil reserves. I'm glad they may have gotten rid of Saddam, but the ends does not justify the means. I want to see how happy the people are going to be down the road after the restructuring.

Shit I forgot to mention that too. Well said Intellect. Whats with the coalition giving re-building contracts for Umm Qasar to British and American companies? Surely you should use local labourers and shit? Thats one thing right there that shows their true intentions innit? Btw Rob i ain't getting at you dogg cos we been there and done that and agreed to differ. Just giving my take on it.

Clearly there was another agenda. All of the money making entities that will be rebuilding is British or American and has close ties to Bush & Chenney. They could care less about those people. For a minute Bush & Blair were arguing over who would have control over that region, Brits or Americans. WTF? I thought they just wanted to liberate the people.

lol we have been there b4, i do take on board your view and i agree, the little boy who is injuried brought a tear to my eye, he should be brought over here(uk) for treatment and new limbs/a family, but dont forget its only the kind of thing saddam would have done to this little boy, and has been doind 4 many years, alot of the muslim world r now upset with us for the amount of iraq casualities, but saddam has been doing this many years to them and they never seemed to bother, nor did many other, but just seems not its us who have done this(not intentionally) there is a big uproar and we r so very wrong, i sort of dont agree with that if u know what i mean, although i have the upmost sympathy 4 the dead iraq and soliders.i always try 2 look on the bright side and now live in the knoledge that allthough many iraq people have died, at least it wont continue, they died under saddam, raped, tortured, electrucuted, whiped, stoned and many other ways on a daily basis, and lived in fear and had no quality of life, at least now they will have and they r happy, and the will never be tortured again,it was a war people will get hurt its ineviatble, but u have 2 look at the big picture, its the greatest good for the greatest number, not just a war for one man, but 2 free millions of iraq people, im just glad this is over and find great satisfaction in backing the army and my country, as i feel they have done a great job, and all iraq people can be seen celebrating and thanking us, if we would have carried on with the talks and shit, the inspectors would still be there finding nothings, but acting now has paid off, and the war is at and end,and fuck france and germany 4 not helping us. peace out.

Yeah thats cool homie. I know that Saddam couldn't be allowed to stay in power too but I still don't think they done it for the good of the people.

We didn't see "millions" of Iraqi's rejoicing, we saw a very small number of people rejoicing over the outcome of the war. I am almost positive that the majority of the country are happy to have Saddam gone, but not happy at all that America was the country to so called ''liberate'' them. Bullshit. It's called SELECTIVE MEDIA we only see what we want to see, and what we want to see is a bunch of happy Iraqis to justify our actions of war. Fuck the coalition, what a bunch of propaganda bullshit.

Yeah I agree with JC. You really can not trust anything you see on teh television. But the 'war' might be over but the HARD PART IS STARTING. The fighting was never the focus of attention, nor was it ever considered the hardest part, but the Nation Rebuilding will.

yea robuk im def on your side. i saw some shit the otehr day that made me even more sick with the kids with no arms. saddams fuckin torture chambers where he put hundredds of thousands of people in over the past 20 years. the shit he does to people for the stupiidest reason is fuckin gross. burning poeple alive, gouging eyes, hangin people with their arms behind there back for days then beating them with poles just to name a few. women and children were also put in these prisons. this one guy was in this shit for eight years in solitary confinement for praying too much! this would have went on and on for yeeears if the coalition didnt go in there. it sux that people had to die put i think that coalition did the right thing. the expressions of the iraqi people in bagdad today show it. peace

Saddam was a bad man, yes, he should have been taken out of power, yes, it should have happened in 1991. Then when Clinton propsed the plan in 1998 to REMOVE SADDAM, every fucking Republican was up in arms about it. Now Bush does the same exact thing, only he LABELED Iraq as a threat to the United States, which they are not. I might not have been so againist the war if they said what it was really about, instead of constantly switching their purpose for the war everytime new information arose. Bush in the summer of 2002, was talking as to how Saddam was trying to purchase and make Nuclear weapons, here that was false, and now the FBI is investigating that 'false claim'. Then they said he has biological and chemical weapons, yes he does have them since we sold them to him in 1980s, but then when the UN Inspectors were "taking too long", Bush went in, on the pretense that Saddam was going to attack the United States. Well lets face it Saddam has no army (i mean look at the way we bulldozed them), no navy, no real airforce. He was not a threat to us, yet we have had our sights on Iraq probably since 2000 election was over (even though that was not made public). It seemed that Bush was so intent on having this war, he would scare the American people into it. Claiming that Iraw was building a Nuclear Areseanl, then when that fell through he told the American people Saddam had bio and chem weapons, when non were found in time, he told the American people we should 'liberate' the people of Iraq. It seemed like there was a underlining goal for Bush to has this war. Almost like he was going to start it no matter what, almost like Iraq has somthing more valuable than American Blood, oh wait they do ... O I L. This whole war was and still is about OIL, and a Personal Vendeta. Don't beleive that we are there to Liberate the Iraq's, which will in effeect will do, because that was not the main goal. I am happy that Saddam is out, it is kind of 12 years late, but I am happy. I am happy that they are 'trying' to build a new Iraq, but I am still NOT happy with the war, and why it was really fought.
