Above the Rim

not to mention one of my favorite movies... but

Do you think it is peculiar that Tupac says, "Where yall wanna go, Jamaca? Las Vegas?"
he says that a couple times during the movie...

just a thought.

In my opinion both places have nothing in common, why Jamaca?

I never paid attention to that. When does he say that? Could very much be a clue.

ya thats a interesting line. I cant realy explain that line in anyway. The only thing would say is that those are his favourite places to visit, but i think thats a good clue because there realy isnt an explaination for it.

Also many directors let their actors change up words to fit into the character better, maybe this was one of Pac's own lines. Like maybe the line was supposed to be something like, 'Where y'all wanna go Hawaii or Florida.' And Pac changed it.

to me it seems kinda strange, that he got killed (or faked his death) in Las Vegas and people are saying that he is hiding in Jamaica. Maybe that line is why everyone thinks he's hiding out in Jamaica.

I really do think this was planned as far back as '93. In representing '93, he says, "I'm sure to be rich by '96". Not 94. Not 95. Not 97, but '96 the year of ALL the coincidences! And then he '96 he again says that "this year is going to be my (Pac's) year." What did he think was going to happen in '96?

"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again an
