Here's a part of an interview in which Raekwon is talking about Tupac:
Interviewer: What do you think about 2PAC and the West/East Coast beef?
Raekwon: Whatever happened with 2PAC, didn't have to do anything with the East Coast/West Coast thang. What just happened was a beef with a person individually. You're right, he is from from the East, but he is from the West too. He is from the both sides, so we gotta respect is that anytime you see somebody going to something... He can't make a coast go against another coast. That's motherfucking people talking shit and get involved with thangs that them no have to do with it. You know what I mean? And it haven't to do with no coast. Me, personally, when that shit happened, I ain't look at that... I look at it... Like he had problems with assaults. I felt it the same way. If I go for somewhere and a motherfucker disrespect me as a person. Yeah! I scream on that person! And whoever get involved with it, then fuck them too! And in that side he took it! He act like ain't love the East. But people think 'cause he had a beef with the certain individually, then he ain't love the East. And it wasn't that.
