Report says Blacks doing better on TV now |
Though you may not have noticed it, blacks are making significant gains on network television. But the NAACP still insists that the networks do more. As reported in Monday's Wall Street Journal, a study by media-buying group Initiative Media indicates that on average, 16 percent of all major characters on the six networks are black, with Fox and NBC doubling the number of major African-American characters in their shows during the past season.
