Upcoming book about Tupac |
Coming December 18,
2001 (actually advertising before the product is in stores... tells you that
Interscope isn't involved! hahaha), is a new book entitled "Holler If You
Hear Me: the Myth and Meaning of Tupac Shakur" by Michael Eric Dyson. Dyson
is best known for a revisionist biography he wrote about Martin Luther King, Jr.
in one chapter of which he compared MLK to Tupac...check that book (entitled
"I May Not Get There With You") out in your library for this
interesting chapter and new perspective on MLK's life. However, I wouldn't
expect much of his Tupac book, Dyson often uses the term "Tupac and
Biggie" which in my opinion TOTALLY negates Tupac's importance.
