Online Hip Hop Awards indefinately prosponed |
Organizers of the fifth annual Online Hip-Hop awards, citing unspecified production problems, have announced that the ceremony will be indefinitely postponed.
"Everything up until this point has been on par with the Awards; we received a great response from the online community, from the artists, labels and the press," 4Control Media President/CEO Felicia Palmer said in a prepared statement. "We've all seen what happens when show production is not on the proper level. We decided it is imperative that we take a little more time to make the production the highest quality possible."
Angie Martinez and Redman were set to be the hosts of this year's awards, which were slated to be taped May 3 at the Manhattan Center Ballroom and shown on television for the first time. The ceremony has been tentatively re-scheduled for sometime this summer.
