| Deathrow Pulls Dr. Dre Up in Smoke Videos |
This is an unconfirmed report that Steve sent me. It seems that Deathrow is trying to have stores pull Dr. Dre's Up in Smoke Video from shelves because it contains footage of songs in which Suge owns the publishing rights. Two of those songs may be California Love and 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted as it was played in almost all of the Dre concerts as a tribute to 2Pac.
If this is true, I can't help but laugh at how Dre and Snoop are getting fucked over time and time again by the Row. Deathrow releases their songs on Deathrow Uncut, performed by them and makes money. Yet these songs can't even be performed on another video by the arists who wrote them. Gotta hand it to the Row's legal counsel. They know what they're doing.
