The 'Up In Smoke' Concert

The 'Up In Smoke' was the fuckin best concert that I've ever been to & many people agree. This concert was an all out event showing all the things that hip-hop fans wanted to see.

I feel that I can write a little bit about the concert since there was a very huge response to 2Pac when he was made a part of the concert when Dre & Snoop took a moment to remember the deceased rap artists.

When they first mentioned that they were gona pay their respects to the deceased, a girl behind me yelled, "2Pac". First showed was Eazy-E who got a nice response from the crowd. There were others shown, I can't recall since there was so much weed smoke in the air. One thing that pissed me off was that they showed their tribute to "Biggie". There was no place for that here on the Westcoast. Then came up the best rapper of all time, 2Pac.

As soon as they showed 2Pac's picture on the screens, the crowd fuckin exploded!!! This was definitely a true crowd of Rap fans here in Portland's Rose Garden. I can truly tell you that I have never before yelled so much for anyone. The entire fuckin Rose Garden was yelling at 200% of their top of their lungs.

Without hesitation, Dre started busting some of that California Love, remix style. Dre did his portion of the song, and just as it was commin up to 2Pac's portion of the song, Dre signaled for the DJ to stop the music, thatz when Snoop came up and told the crowd that he wanted to get with another beat for his man 2Pac.

2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted!!! Fuckin tight!!! Snoop busting his cut, it sounded bad ass. When it came to 2Pac singing, the sound mixer turned up the volume loud as fuck so 2Pac's voice could be heard throughout the motha fucka!

I was very glad that they are still representing 2Pac's legacy to the world wherever they go. It made the night complete.

I don't have time to write about the rest of the concert, partly because I can't remember, haha. But I just wanted to let you know that if you have the chance to go to the 'Up In Smoke Concert', its definitely worth the $50.
